So, it seems my friend KP - who was somehow less troubled by dehydration issues than me - not only saw the Cowboy Junkies play a fine show here in Beijing on Sunday evening, but also got to hang out with THE BAND afterwards.
I am gutted. Happy for her, but.... full of tooth-grinding frustration and despair and impotent rage against the cruel and capricious forces of Fate. Margo, I nearly met you???
