A friend just sent me a link to this article in the New York Sun (I have some strange friends), by a linguist called John McWhorter, on the dying out of minority languages around the world.
According to the article, in the language of the Inuktitut Eskimo this single word means:
"I should try not to become an alcoholic."
I couldn't make it up. Well, I could..... but, on this occasion, I didn't.
