December tends to be a particularly profuse blogging month, for good reasons and bad. Work slows down, too much time on my hands, a vicious seasonal depression takes hold. On the other hand, there is a lot of party activity to report, and a certain amount of Christmassy goodwill and nostalgia pouring from my keyboard. It's one of those months where Barstool Blues generally gets a bit busier than Froogville.
So, in December 2009 there were 48 posts and around 15,000 words on Froogville, including a humorous year-end roundup of the year's most eccentric posts.
And there were 54 posts and more than 22,000 words on Barstool Blues (can that really be right? I distrust that wordcounter!) - climaxing, of course, with my Annual Beijing Bar Awards.
Traffic has been a bit slow over the holiday period, with no new 'exotics' for quite a while - only my hardcore followers in the the UK and the USA are still looking in at the moment. Please, tell your friends - it's an 'open house' party!!
A Happy New Year to you all!
